Our house was a building site for a while during construction of our extension, consequently our cream kitchen floor tiles became pitted with dirt. Repairing a crack in a Jerusalem stone floor
The crack was filled with special colour matching resin compound and then grinded down and polished using a diamond pad.

Removing Acid etch marks in a shower.
Natural stone is very sensitive to acid based products, regular use can result in surface damage.

An Indian Fossil Sandstone floor.
Cooking oils, spills etc all contributing to making it look tired and grubby. Strippers were used to remove the old sealers. Then the stone was neutralised and then sealed with 6 thin coats of topical sealer. Customer delighted with the finish, “looked like it was when it was first installed”.

Victorian Tiled Hallway floor, Wooler.
This condition of this floor was quite good and only required a quick clean followed by 5 to 6 coats of Tile Doctor Seal and Go.

Crema Marfil Marble Kitchen Floor, Edge Hill, Ponteland
A newly laid Crema Marfil marble floor left looking flat, dull and lifeless by the use of ever stronger household chemicals in an attempt to get the sparkle back in the floor. The shine was restored with a chemical polish and client advised to only use Tile Doctor Neutral cleaner in future.

Travertine Conservatory Floor in Bishop Middleham, Durham
A dull flat lack lustre floor caused by the use of acidic household cleaners (acid eats away at the calcium) and damage due to high healed shoes. We cleaned out the holes and cracks and filled them in, the floor was then chemically re-polished and the grout was re-coloured with a Navajo coloured grout.

Ideally this floor required a complete diamond re-grind and polish however we felt the impact of  this procedure may have caused further damage due to poor condition of the tile substrate so damaged tiles were replaced and the whole floor restored with a chemical polish.
